Tune your furnace
before you need it.
Annual furnace maintenance prevents the repairs you dread most. Maintenance Club members get automatic spring and fall service — so your heating is ready before temperatures drop.
A clean furnace is
a safe furnace.
Carbon monoxide is called the silent killer — colorless, odorless, and deadly. A cracked heat exchanger can leak CO into your home without you ever knowing until it's too late. Routine maintenance catches these hazards before they become headlines. That's not fear-mongering. That's the reality of heating systems that run on combustion.
Beyond safety, a maintained furnace operates more efficiently — burning less gas to produce the same heat. That means lower monthly bills, fewer mid-season breakdowns, and a longer equipment lifespan. Most manufacturer warranties also require documented annual maintenance to remain valid.

Inspect heat exchanger for cracks, corrosion, or carbon monoxide leaks
Clean burners and combustion chamber for safe, efficient flame
Test igniter and flame sensor — most common furnace failure points
Check gas pressure and all gas connections for leaks
Inspect, clean, and lubricate blower motor and fan assembly
Test safety controls and limit switches — your furnace's emergency shutoffs

Check and replace air filter if needed — or confirm filter size/type
Run full heating cycle in every thermostat mode to verify performance
We test for CO
so you don't have to guess.
During every tune-up, our technicians use calibrated combustion analyzers to testflame quality and measure combustion efficiency. We also inspect heat exchangers for cracks that can leak carbon monoxide — the most dangerous and invisible threat in gas furnaces.
If we find anything that concerns us, you'll know immediately — before it becomes an emergency. No upsells. No pressure. Just honest findings and clear options.
Book a Safety Tune-UpCombustion Analysis
We measure CO levels, oxygen content, and stack temperature to verify your furnace is burning fuel safely and efficiently — not just running.
Heat Exchanger Inspection
Using visual inspection and combustion analysis, we check for cracks or deterioration that could allow carbon monoxide to bypass the flue and enter your home.
Safety Control Testing
Every safety switch — limit controls, fan proving, pressure switches — is tested to confirm it will shut the furnace down if anything goes wrong.

Furnace maintenance
questions answered.
How often should I have my furnace serviced?
At minimum, once a year — ideally in the fall before heating season. If your furnace is older than 10 years, runs more than normal, or has a history of breakdowns, twice-yearly service is worth the investment. The Maintenance Club Essential and Elite tiers include two visits annually.
Does annual furnace maintenance keep my warranty valid?
In most cases, yes — but read the fine print. Many manufacturer warranties require documented annual maintenance by a licensed technician as a condition of coverage. Without records, a warranty claim can be denied. The Maintenance Club keeps digital records of every visit.
What if my furnace fails during a tune-up?
If we find a critical safety issue during your tune-up, we shut the system down and explain the situation immediately. If it's a non-emergency repair, we provide a written estimate before proceeding. No repairs without your explicit approval — ever.
Is furnace maintenance really worth the cost?
Yes — financially and safety-wise. A tune-up costs a fraction of an emergency repair or replacement. Regular maintenance extends furnace lifespan, improves efficiency (lowering gas bills), and catches dangerous issues like cracked heat exchangers before they become life-threatening.
